How do I amend my questions in my questionnaire?

I would like to change or amend a question or questions that are part of my questionnaire. How do I do this? 

Solution

To amend a question the first thing we need to understand is if this question already has responses provided. If it does, then it is not then possible to change the question. If it does not then you will be able to change the question as required. 

If you try and amend a question that already has answers you would see this .


In this situation you would need to replace the question rather than amending it and then delete the original question. 

If the details of the question are going to be largely the same and you can just click on Copy on the existing question which will then create an exact copy of the existing question at the very bottom of the section. You can then make any changes to the copy and then drag this into place and then delete the old question. 

Otherwise if the the question is going to be different you can just scroll to the bottom of the section and click on the Add new question option, then create the new question, drag it into place and then delete the old question. 

Don't worry, deleting the old question does not lose any data. All suppliers responses to those questions are still available.
