How can I clone an event?

How can I clone an event?

What is the issue you're facing?

I'd like to clone a Sourcing event, how do I do this?

Solution

In order to Clone an event you would need have an existing event you are looking to clone .

You can Clone events in a couple of ways.

The first way is by clicking the "New event" button when in your sourcing dashboard in the top right of the page.

You will then need to choose “Clone event” from the options in front of you.

If you are cloning an event from the sandpit make sure to have the "From Sandpit" check box checked otherwise it wont show in the search bar.

Search for the event in the search bar and click on your chosen event you wish to clone.

Once you have selected which aspects of your event you wish to keep on in the new clone, click “create event”.

Different ways to clone

You can now clone your event from the "Current" drop down when in your event.

This also should be added onto the drop-down when viewing 'Your Events'

If 'Clone event' is selected then the below pop up should appear, the same as if you were to clone an event in the first method I described.

Note : If you are unable to clone your event this may be because elements of the event you are trying to clone are missing. Lots and questionnaires are the usual culprits.
