How do I add expiry dates to documents that suppliers upload?

What is the issue you're facing?

I want to enable expiry dates on my questionnaires in SIM Dojo. How do I do this?

Solution

If this is a new question

  1. Click on th Edit question attributes button. 
  2. Setup the question description and if you would like it to be mandatory or not.
  3. On the question type drop down select 'Documents Upload'.
  4. Ensure the 'Include an expiry date tick box is ticked.

If the questionnaire and question already exists

  1. Go the the questionnaire in Supplier Onboarding that you would like to edit.
  2. Find the question you would like to add an expiry date to. 
  3. Click on the 'Edit question attributes' button.


4. At the bottom there is a checkbox for 'Include an expiry date'. Ensure this is ticked. 


5. Click on 'Save changes' 

Note that is a supplier has already answered this question you will not be able to change this as you will be presented with this error. 


In this situation you will need to add a new question to the questionnaire duplicating the old one, but adding in the include expiry date option and then delete the old question and save. Note that no information will be lost and all of the old responses and documents will still be accessible.
