How do I setup auto-selection conditions for my questionnaires?

What is the issue you're facing?

I have created my questionnaires within my Onboarding platform. Now I would like to be able to have them automatically assigned based on the Participant properties that have been selected. How do I do this?

Solution

We would strongly recommend talking to your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager before making any changes here as there is the potential to cause large unintended changes of not done correctly which we will likely not be able to restore for you.  

To setup auto-election conditions you first need to have created the questionnaire you want to have automatically assigned to suppliers. Once you have done this you need to:
  1. Navigate to the questionnaire you created. 
  2. Click on the Auto Selection Conditions button.

  1.  You will then see a logic tree where you can have the questionnaire assigned based on the selected tags. 
  1. Expand the None Selected drop down and then pick the appropriate tag or tags. 


  1. You then need to decide on how you would like this condition to apply. In the example below I have selected just the one tag for 'Yes' against the Strategic option and I have changed this to equal to 1. 
    1. This means that if the 'Yes' tag is selected under the Strategic heading then this questionnaire would be automatically assigned to this supplier. 


  1. When you are setting up your conditions you can setup multiple conditions to apply. To do so click on the '+ Add another condition' button. 
  2. You can then assign the relevant logic to this condition as well. 
  1. Then using the drop down you can decide if all of the conditions need to be met, one of the conditions need to be met, either of the conditions need to be met or none of the conditions need to be met. 


  1. Once you have setup your conditions and are happy with them click on Save Changes. 

  1. You'll then get an option like the one below. 

  1. If you just click on Save this will save the auto-assignment and apply this to any new suppliers that you invite. 
  2. If you click on Save and assign this will then update all suppliers who's properties meet the auto-assignment requirements you set. 
    1. Note that this has the potential to take large numbers of suppliers out of an Onboarding Complete status and reset approvals.
