How to create a new event from an event template
What is the issue you're facing?
I would like to create an event from a template that has previously been created. How do I do this?
Solution
- The first thing you will need to do is navigate to the Sourcing module. from the Modules drop down at the top of the page.
- We would always recommend creating an event in the Sandpit first, so that you can test it. If you do wish to use the Sandpit click on Sandpit in the menu along the top.
- For the next step whether you're in the Sandpit or the live environment to create an event click on the New Event button.
- Click on the Use template radio button and then select the template you would like to use from the drop down and then click on Create Event
- This will now populate the event based on the event template you selected and will have copied across all event settings, documents, questionniares and lots.
* Note that you will need to set new event deadlines for questionniares, RFQs and auctions.
