How to invite a new supplier to your Onboarding Event

What is the issue you're facing?

I would like to add a new supplier to my Onboarding event. How can I do this?

Solution

In order to add a new supplier to your Onboarding event you can do so in the following way:
  1. Log into your account and click on 'Modules' and then 'Onboarding'.


  1. Once you're in the Onboarding module click on the 'Participant Summary' tab.


  1. Click on the 'Add New Participant' button


  1. In the pop you will be guided across different tabs where you need to provide information for the supplier you're about to onboard.
  2. On the Categorize Participant tab click on the drop down menu and select the options relevant to your supplier.


*Note that the tags you have selected in the above step, will define what Approval flow your
supplier goes through
  1. If you have setup Custom Fields you can select these on the Custom Fields tab.

  1. On the Questionnaires tab you can choose which questionnaires are going to be assigned to the supplier. You may see some have been automatically selected already based on the tags you chose for the supplier. 
    1. Note that if these have been auto-selected they cannot be removed without removing the associated tag from the supplier. 


  1. On the Assign Responsibility tab you can choose who will be the owner for this supplier from the drop down menu.

  1. In the Select  Approver tab if you have setup approvals based on your tags the steps will be locked as this is automated based on the Tags selected. You will not need to do anything.
  2. If you don't approvals setup though you will need to select the relevant approval group and any document approvers as necessary. 

  1. In the "Participant" tab add the Supplier email and then select 'Add'.






  1. This will then create the supplier within your Onboarding event and your supplier will then receive an email inviting them to Onboard.
