Troubleshooting sealed events

Troubleshooting sealed events

Why do I not have the option to seal my event?

The ability to seal an event is given by the Super Host of your account. If you do not see this option in the Settings tab and it is something that you need please contact your Super Host or someone with access to edit "Sourcing Settings" to request this change.
*Note that this will be applied to all Hosts.

Why are my events automatically sealed when I create them?

This will be because of a company level setting that has been applied. This can only be amended by your Super Host or someone with equivalent access rights.

How do I delete sealed bids?

You would need to click into the participant you would like to alter and then open the relevant tab (RFQ or auction). You will then be able to remove the numbered bids, you just wont be able to see the bids value as the results are sealed. If you are a Super Host you may have been asked to do this by one of your suppliers so that they can resubmit an answer they have already submitted.
*If you do not see the option to delete a sealed bid and this is something you need please contact Market Dojo Support.

Why can I not un-seal a new event I am creating?

This will be because of a Sourcing Setting that has been applied. This can only be amended by your Super Host or someone who has access to change Sourcing Settings configuration.
You can find the Sourcing Settings under the admin drop down.

How do I seal the results of my event?

When creating a new event, under the Brief text box you will see an option to 'Seal results until the deadline'. Tick this and create your event as normal.

How do I un-seal the results of my event?

Within the Settings tab of your event un-tick 'Seal the results until the deadline'.
*Note that you can only do this prior to taking the event live. Once an event is sealed and taken live you cannot then unseal it.

Why can I not see the answer to questionnaires my participants have submitted?

This will be because the event is sealed until the deadline associated with the questionnaire passes.
In the example below we can see 2 participants have submitted answers to their questionnaires, but as the deadline has not passed the results will remain sealed until the deadline passes, at which point you would then be able to see the participants answers.
