Understanding the auction visuals and what it can show you (Participant Progression etc)

What is the issue you're facing?

I am running an auction and would like to understand the visuals that the system is showing me.

Solution

To see these the first thing you need to do is have a running auction, then:
  1. Go to the Auction tab.
  2. Click on the graph icon.
  1. You can either click on the graph against the Totals column to see the visuals for the whole event or you can click against a specific lot to only see the visuals for that lot.
  2. The first tab you see is the Participant Progression tab.
    1. This tab shows you each participants starting bid and what their latest bid is.
  1. The next tab is the All Bid Progression Chart.
    1. This shows each participants bids from where they started to what their latest bid is.
    2. If you entered a Current price this will also be displayed on this graph.

  1. The next tab is the Best Big Progression Chart.
    1. This shows only the best bid and how this has changed over the course of the event.

  1. The next tab is the Savings Progression tab.
    1. This show a visual representation of the savings within the event.
    2. Note that id no current price was entered you will not see anything here as this is required to calculate savings.
