What are "Qual Bids" and how do I place them?

I have been invited to an auction event and there is a tab for Qual Bids. What is this?

Solution

  1. The Qual. Bids tab allows you to place an initial bid more than 24 hours prior to the auction start.
  2. Once the auction starts it will register that you have already bid within the Qual Bids tab and start the auction for you with this bid in place.   
  1. In the example below the auction has just started, and as a bid had already been placed for Lot 1 within the Qual bids tab the auction started with this bid having already been submitted for this supplier.
