I cannot add enough rows or columns to my advanced lot

I'm not able to add enough rows or columns to my advanced lot. Why is this?

Solution

There are some restrictions on the size of advanced lots.

The system will permit up to 50 ranked cells per lot, and a total of 500 cells per event. If you ask your participants to bid at detail level during an auction, then 100 cells are permitted.

There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the system will become slow if you have a very large number of cells. Secondly, the users will find it difficult to enter this amount of information.

When you need the participants to provide lots of prices, you have a couple of options. You could split into several events; or you could consider giving the participants a spreadsheet to fill out the detail and only enter the top level prices into Market Dojo.
