What do the settings for 'Onboarding Timescales - Expired Documents' mean?

I would like to know what my Expired Document settings are for within the Onboarding Settings

The Expired Document settings covers the following:

Notify Participants
It is to remind the participant that one of their document questions is expiring soon. This controls how long before expiry the first reminder is sent.

Notify participants every
When a document expires, regular reminders are sent to the participant. This setting controls how frequently reminders are sent.

Require suppliers to renew expiring documents before onboarding
When this option is turned on, suppliers will be required to ensure that any uploaded documents with expiry dates remain valid while their onboarding process is ongoing, and will be prompted to replace any that expire, or that enter the configured notice period. When this happens, their status will move to 'Submission in Progress'.
When the option is turned off, only suppliers whose status is 'Onboarding Complete' are required to take action when documents expire.
