I would like to add documents to my Onboarding event. How can I do this?
Solution
To add documents to an Onboarding event that all invited suppliers will be able to see, such as an NDA you can do this in the following way:
You are in the process of creating your event
Click on the Documents tab and then click on the +Add New Document button.
You'll then be presented with this popup. Either click the 'Drop files here to upload' button to browse for the files you wish to add or drag and drop them.
It should then populate like this:
You also need to decide if you would like to include these documents in the email invitation that is sent out to suppliers. If you do these will be sent as an attachment to the invitation email. Supplier will also be able to access these from within the event when they are logged in via the Documents tab. To include in the invitation ensure that the 'include in Invite' option is ticked.
Next click on the Upload Document(s) button and this should then add the documents you added to the Documents tab and will look like this:
Your event is already live
Click on the Documents tab
Then click on the Add New Documents button
You'll then be presented with this pop-up.
Using the drop down at the top you can leave this on Add Document Manually which will allow you to either drag and drop the file you wish to upload into the File Upload section or you can click in that section to browse for the file on your local machine.
Once you have selected your file or files you will see them appear within the window.
You now need to decide if you would like to include the selected files in the invitation email that is sent out when you make the event live. If you do ensure that the Include in invite option is ticked.
Note : That the maximum combined size of the documents you can include in the invite is 5 megabytes.
You'll then see the document or documents you have uploaded listed in your Documents tab.
The click on Save
