What is the issue you're facing?
I would like to know how I can add total columns and rows to my Advanced Lot and how I can use formulae to do calculations within my lot
Solution
When
building an advanced lot table, there is the ability to include total columns
and rows. Within these total components you can then include calculations and
formulae.
To add a
total column or row click onto either the ‘Add Line Item Row’ or ‘Add Component
Colum’ then a drop down will appear, giving you the option to add in a total
(See image 1 & 2 below). You will then be prompted to give the new column
or row a name, you can also decide if you want this column to be hidden from
participants.

where to add a total row.
When you
have added a total column or row you will see that they are highlighted in
green (See image 3 below).

As default
the total column cells and total row cells will make an addition of any price
cells. You can however change and expand on the formulae. To change the
formula in either total column or total rows click into one of the green total
columns or total rows cells (Enter info button). You will now be able to build
a complex formula similar to how you would build formulas within Excel (See
image 4).
When you are happy with the formula you can apply the formula to all of the total column or
total row cells by selecting the ‘Apply to entire column/row’ to the right
above the formula box. This will then duplicate the formula and apply to all
cells within the total column or row.
You can also decide whether this is going to be a
ranked field, whether the rank will be visible to participants, and if you want this
column total or row total to include the Lot Total. See knowledge base
article ‘Lot totals and line items totals’ for further information on Lot
totals.

If you
click into the name of the total row or total column you can rename the column
and row, decide if you want the row or column ranked, if the ranked is visible
to participants and decide if you want to hide the entire column or row from
participants. See image 5 below.

Tip: Before
hiding a column or row from participants consider if participants will be
confused by not being able to see the information in the column or row.
