How do I stop suppliers from uploading documents onto the documents tab?

I want to stop suppliers from being able to upload to the documents tab within my event. How do I do this?

Solution

To stop your suppliers uploading any documents directly onto the documents tab. This setting can be chosen when initially creating your event or when the event is in progress.

Please see the below steps:

How to do this when creating an event : 
On the 'Create Documents' tab, if you untick the below circled tick box, this will stop your suppliers uploading directly onto the documents tab during the event:



How to do this when your event is live : 
1) Put your event into edit mode.
2) Go onto the documents tab.
3) Untick the below highlighted tick box.

4) Save to take the event out of edit mode

Please note:
  1. Your company admin can set a company-wide rule under Participant Document Upload: Always allow, Never allow, or Let hosts choose per event. You will only see the checkbox when your company uses "Let hosts choose per event". If you cannot see it, speak to your admin.
  2. If your event is live and you change your mind and would like your suppliers to upload documents via the documents tab, you can re-tick the option to upload to the documents tab, just click on this box and save.
