I want to invite a new participant to my "Live Event", how do I do this?
Solution
Please see the below steps on how to invite a new participant to your event after the event has been launched:
1) Firstly you will need to put the event into edit mode. We would recommend doing this by going onto the 'Overview' tab but you should be able to access this from the 'Participants' tab as well. Scrolling to the bottom of the page, click on the 'Edit' button:
2) Once the event is in edit mode, please go to the 'Participants' tab before you then scroll to the bottom of the page (below all your existing participants) you will see a button called 'Add New Participant', please click on this button:
3) This will then bring a pop up box where you can add the email address of the participant you would like to invite:
4) Once you have added their email address, click on the 'Add' button.
5) After you clicked on the 'Add' button, you should see the new participant at the bottom of your existing participants. To then send the invite email to this participant, click 'save changes'.
Note(s): This will also take your event out of edit mode.
- If a participant is claiming they have been invited, have accepted but do not have access, please check that the event is not in a "closed" state and that the deadlines for questionnaires, RFP's or RFQ's are in the future. If these dates are in the past the supplier will not have access to that part of the event.
