New Features: Q2 2025

1) Supplier Collaboration on Sourcing Events - Now available in BETA

We are excited to introduce a powerful new feature designed to meet the evolving needs of Sourcing Dojo users, supplier collaboration within sourcing events.

This functionality enables suppliers to invite multiple contacts from their organisation to participate in a single event, making it easier to manage complex questionnaires and ensure the right people are contributing at the right time.

With this update, a lead supplier contact can now seamlessly invite colleagues to collaborate, even across different departments or domains. Collaborators can complete questionnaires, upload and view documents, and contribute to the event without needing to accept an invite or interrupt existing workflows. Hosts will have full visibility of all collaborators, and any submitted content remains intact, even if access changes later.

This feature responds directly to customer feedback and is now available for early access in BETA, with a planned full release in September 2025. Please see below some screenshots of the new feature:

If you'd like to be among the first to try it out and shape its future, please contact me directly at christopher.barrett@marketdojo.com or contact your account manager.

2) Track Deleted Bids with Front-End Audit Logs

We’ve introduced a new audit log feature to improve visibility and accountability within Market Dojo Sourcing. If a host or collaborator deletes a bid from an event, this action will now be automatically recorded on the front end, directly in the event’s Notes section. This update ensures a clear and auditable history of bid activity is always available, giving teams greater confidence in their sourcing process.

3) New Feature: Real-Time Connection Alerts in Auctions

To improve reliability and transparency during live auctions, we've introduced a new feature that alerts users if they become disconnected from real-time updates. This enhancement addresses occasional issues where users have reported not seeing incoming bids, sometimes only noticing a change in rank after the auction ends.

Now, if a user loses connection to live updates during an auction, a clear on-screen warning will appear, helping them take action and avoid confusion. This ensures all participants have the best chance to respond to bids as they happen and maintain a competitive edge.

4) Additional features and improvements

Sourcing:

  1. Host Collaborator Dropdown Now Displays Names - We’ve updated the host collaborator dropdown to show users’ full names instead of just email addresses, making it easier to identify and invite the right colleagues

  1. New Warning for Incomplete Scoring on Questionnaire Export - To prevent confusion, users will now see a warning if they try to export a questionnaire before all scoring is complete, helping ensure reports include full and accurate subtotal scores.

  1. Company Names Now Bold in New RFQ Rounds - When adding a new round in an RFQ, supplier company names now appear in bold, making it easier for hosts to quickly identify participants.

  1. Download Simple Lot Template Directly from the UI -  A permanent download button for the Simple Lot Template is now available in the UI, making it easier to access and ensuring it includes details of any lots already added to the event.

  1. Clear Status and Deadline Indicators - We’ve added visible banners showing whether a deadline is open or closed, along with its deadline date.

Supplier Onboarding:

  1. Add Choices to Existing Questionnaire Questions - You can now successfully add new choices to existing questionnaire questions,  even when responses already exist. This ensures smoother updates without data loss or errors.

  1. Improved Filters for Supplier Onboarding Custom Fields - We’ve enhanced filtering on custom fields to make it easier and faster to find the right entries.

Contract Management:

  1. Contract References Now Visible in Parent Dropdown - We’ve updated the parent contract dropdown to display the contract reference (or ID if none is available), making it easier to identify linked contracts at a glance — just like in the child contract dropdown.
Multi-Module

  1. Rename Host and Participant Groups - You can now rename host and participant groups directly within the platform — making it easier to keep group names relevant and organised. System groups like “Default” and “Deactivated” remain locked.
